Recording Live Off The Floor
This is our new favorite thing.
Recording live off the floor was the most fun we’ve ever had in the studio, and we all agree it’s the way we’re doing it from now on. We wish we could have done Time Will Tell this way, but we didn’t even have Adrian at the time.
We spent two solid months preparing the songs we wanted to record, which made getting them down simple. No countless hours of editing to follow. Just the pure energy of the performance going to disk. It was challenging, but so rewarding.
Our live show has improved vastly from this experience. And not only with the songs we recorded, but every song we play live. They’re all tighter than they were two months ago because the band as a unit is tighter. The difference is remarkable.
The filming went extremely well too. We’re going to have some wicked videos for you in the near future. Our crew did an incredible job with lighting and video capturing and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
Stay tuned, we’ll try to have the first one for you in a few weeks!

Lights, Camera, Action
We hit Greenhouse Studios on Sunday to record our new EP.
It’ll be a live off the floor session and we’ll be done all our tracking when we walk out the door late Sunday night.
We’re also filming every take of each song, so this will really end up being a “Video EP.” Each take of each song that makes the record will have an accompanying video, complete with a wicked lighting show.
This is the most ambitious project we’ve undertaken to date, and I can’t wait to see what the last two and a half months of preparation will create!

Unplugged
We had an awesome time last night playing the unplugged set. It was great to see a packed house to raise money for the Vancouver Food Bank! Big shout out to Static In The Stars, Columbia, and Pat from The Turn, as well as The Cellar and Rednyne Productions for organizing the night.

We’re back at The Cellar February 15, opening for Incura!
The Cellar Tonight
Help us raise donations for the Vancouver Food Bank tonight! $10 or 3 cans of food for entry. Doors are at 8, we go on at 8:30. If you missed our Falconetti’s gig last month, this is a great chance to hear us “unplugged.”

Cancelled
Unfortunately, due to illness, Adrian’s voice is incapacitated and we are forced to cancel the set we planned for Joe’s Apartment tomorrow night. Mike, Chris, and I will be performing a short instrumental set at the beginning of the night to fill our time, but if you were planning to come solely to see us, we suggest skipping this one. We don’t think it would be fair to charge you the price of admission. Our apologies.
